This app is utterly amazing! It’s a great app to use when solving algebra. Not gonna lie, it can literally solve ANY problem. MathPapa has helped me a lot with my school work, and I highly recommend you to download it.
  • Great but horrible

    By C0I5
This saved me on algebra work, giving me step-by-step which helped me for the first 3 questions, but then on the 4th one, What? I have to pay $10 for step by step now? This is horrible and I don’t recommend if you’re looking for step-by-step. You know, I really had hope in this app. Will only be using for certain circumstances now.
  • Money

After you ask the answer for two questions later you have to upgrade to premium step by step and that cost money.....what if you don’t have money you ask? Yeah I have the same problem know I don’t know where to get help.

I just want to say that I am in 6th grade and this app has helped me so much. It gives me all the correct answers and if I do not understand how they got the answer it has all the work for me. But I have got to say that the fee was very unexpected and a can not afford it. It is a lot of money and I am only in 6th grade. I have seen another review about this and it is very true. I think that the price should be more kid friendly or no fee at all. They could maybe offer different upgrades or something. I am very sad because I really loved this app but I guess that I will have to find on that is cheaper because I can not afford 10$ a month for a Calculator!!

I was using the website for my algebra homework, and when I clicked on the step-by-step button, it took me to a subscription page!! So I got the app and it happened once more!!! Please fix this, I don’t want to have to search for another calculator at 10pm on a school night. And if you can’t make it totally free, at least give us more free step-by-step problems, thank you.
  • Best free app for solving algebra

I am a busy parent who has children who sometimes need assistance with their algebra. MathPapa helps by showing the steps involved in solving those expressions. I recommend this app for kids and parents who need help with algebra.
  • Great app for math

I really recommend you download this it doesn’t just give you the answer it tells you step by step of how to solve it. I personally try to solve Algebra and then check my answer and than see the step by step to see if I did anything wrong if I got the answer incorrectly.
  • Nice math app. Please define “MathPapaPremium” more clearly.

The blurb after the demo said nothing about ads, which I can’t stand; and it referred to “MathPapa Premium,” which if I understood correctly would cost $9.00/month regardless of how much I use it. The app does look like it would be a help to college undergrad and some graduate students. Also, some mention was made in the blurb about Facebook and Twitter. I use neither of those abominations. I communicate with people to whom I have been properly introduced. Back to the scope of the app. I’m already studied the field, though to be sure I’ve forgotten a lot. I have a PhD in a non-scientific field, as well as an MD in which we learned a good deal about membrane electrochemistry. I’m winding up a 30-some-odd-year career in clinical psychiatry. I want to re-learn more math in my old age: my dad was an aeronautical engineer, and I want to understand his life and work. Dad mentioned Fermat’s last Theorem; he met Theodore van Karman; and I think he studied under van Karman and may have helped that great man solve a problem that was holding up some of his work. Daddy tried hard to help his daughters understand how space is curved, using the analogy of a bug crawling around on an orange to illustrate the notion that since the space we have is the only space we know, we struggle to grasp its farther dimensions. But he never mentioned Hilbert’s 10th problem—I’ve just learned of its existence today from an article in Science News. The same source identifies Julia Robinson’s work, & that of Martin Davis & Hilary Putnam, & ultimately of Yuri Matiyasevich. I don’t know whether this app will help me relearn fundamental algebra. Or would I do better to read Newton’s Principia and a text called The Math Book and the Engineering textbook used at some point at the Naval Academy? I’ve already bought and paid for them. $9.00 a month? How do I cancel it when I’m ready to do so? But it might be pretty cheap tutoring for a while. KSSHRINK

I was trying to simplify a square root, but I received a decimal point answer not an explanation of how to solve.
