  • Don’t bother.

I hope you’re not expecting to watch anything. You can either pay for it and have the app crash on the regular or watch the same ad five times in a row and then have it crash. This app is garbage.

LOVE this app and it’s amazing how many different shows are on here. But I really came here to tell you guys that your app for the PlayStation doesn’t work?? Idk where else I’d go to tell you, but it’s quite frustrating. I’ll click on a show to watch it and it’ll say “Oops! Something went wrong” with every single show. Like, stuff loads and all, I just can’t watch anything. But the phone app works? I dunno 🤷🏻‍♀️
  • The gosh darn ads

Last time I used this, the ads literally didn’t stop. I couldn’t even WATCH an episode without ads. I’d love some moderation, or maybe whoever reads this will think: “Oh you whiny bastard, just waste your money on the ad blocker!” NO. I won’t spend my money on some ad blocker, I’m a free to play person. So my recommendation is to moderate the ads to a level where I won’t see two 20 second ads in a row that are unskippable.

i love vrv it’s honestly one of my favorite apps on my phone and it’s the one app i most use but something that i wish you guys could add is an option the skip the intro just like a button so you could just tap and it’ll skip the intro for you it’s just a recommendation but it can be a good one

The app features a lot of content, but without premium there is, in my opinion, too many ads and it also crashes a lot. Overall it’s an eh. BTW Why does sub not show sometimes?
  • not working on fixes

I really feel like the coders of this app have set themselves up for failure from the beginning. I have regular crashers that are so obvious, they should have been fixed already without me creating a ticket that gets ignored. if the code were easy to work with after release, these things would have been fixed by now. The offline download doesn't work half the time if you are connected to slow internet, which means that it isn't interested in giving you the download and pissing off. I practically have to download an episode (if it doesn't fail) and then disable the internet to watch the offline video. This has been going on for half a year at least with no fixes and it seems like some things have gotten worse. The good thing about this app is that apple screen mirroring actually works. Some of the problems is that the original content creators will not release their vids for download and even then, there are strict guidelines in place because the industry is trying to squash pirates. The only reason I use vrv is because there isn't an alternative. I used to love crunchyroll but i think they took on too much starting vrv... but it has been long enough for them to work out the kinks by now. Months later: Just dropped from 2 stars to 1. App popping up with recommended new shows that I cannot close out of until I select the link, and then it takes me to the VRV App Store/website and not even the show it is advertising. I still use the app, but this is ridiculous. App still crashing in instances that should be easy for the development team to see themselves without feedback. I will say that the app seems to work better overall when you have a fast/good internet connection.

I don’t have premium but I when I’m watching something an ad pops up and doesn’t play and the video I’m watching keeps playing and I can’t pause it.
  • Too many adds

I’m trying to watch an episode and I understand adds but I’m halfway through and I’ve already seen nine adds and this is all in one episode it’s ridiculous

After about a few minutes of watching (if I’m lucky) it crashes and says a problem occurred. This never happens when I cast it with my computer, so kindly fix your app!
