  • Difficult to track progress

    By RrogueS
Besides that I am loving the content of Master class and this is one place you can find so many advices from so many talented people, this new updates is bad - it is difficult to point where you left, it’s is difficult to track progress. There are so many entry points to the class that you are already following. Please, give one primary entry point of where you left last time and then secondarily show the chapters
  • Great content, terrible app

    By JLD1011val
By all means, get the all lesson option. But be prepared for difficulty with the app. Navigating through the app is difficult. Example: I am watching lesson four. Suddenly my video jumps to lesson five and just as suddenly it’s on lesson six. I get stuff stopped. Now I want to go back to lesson four. But on the app I have no option to go back. So I’ve given up on the app and gone to the web browser which is somewhat easier to navigate. The developers have put a lot of work into creating content. Now it’s time for them to sit down with their customers and discover what difficulties users are having. Also, their tech support responds quickly and is a plus. But communicating by email is not the most satisfactory way to solve app negotiating issues.
  • Downloads are a sham

    By roddtv
The download function is misleading. I purchased 4 classes, non of which I can download the lessons themselves (it lets me download the accompanying materials only). This makes the service rather useless. Hope this is addressed. I would like to subscribe to the All-Pass service again, but not doing that until I’m able to watch lessons while commuting or flying, which at the moment is impossible.
  • Classes are good but app is horrible

    By Samthewalrusy
The download section has many bugs. I tried downloading a lot of classes for my flight the night before on my Wifi overnight and none of the saved. This happened for both my outbound and inbound flights. Issues I came across.... 1) unsure if class was queued up to download 2) the app labeled the class as successfully downloaded but when I go on airplane mode the class disappears. 3) I touch to cancel/play one lesson but it actual cancels/plays a different lesson in the queue. TLDR: if you try to watch classes before you flight, try them on some other device than an iPhone. Their content download management feature is terrible.
  • Helped me write a book

    By H.K.Boughazian
I had an idea for a feature animated film, and these lessons helped me turn that idea into a feature script and a middle-grade novel. These tutorials aren’t necessarily filled with step-by-step instructions, but the powerful lessons they teach help provide inspiration and motivation to whatever passion you have. Combine this with some books on the topic you’re pursuing, and some motivational videos from youtube, and you can do anything.
  • One of a Kind

What an amazing experience this app is! I am crossing my fingers for more Science & Technology courses soon!
  • Good content. Buggy app

    By asasdasd
Great content. Very Buggy app. Feels more like a good podcast conversations then actual courses with real learning. (courses are super short!) Still happy i subscribed but it feels like the marketing team took over the company. ‘don’t believe the hype’
  • Beautiful concept, bad design

    By t(-_-t)
Masterclass is an amazing app that takes experts from many fields and presents their knowledge in gorgeous videos. This is a valuable app for anyone seeking to improve their skills, or to explore the worlds of extraordinary people. Personally, I bought the all-access pass, and now I feel like my only limit is my curiosity. Unfortunately, the app is hindered by a pathetically buggy video player, and home screen glitches. Considering that most free apps can throw together a functional UI, this is a big letdown. I’d be glad to rate higher once this is fixed.
  • My downloads don’t show up

    By Ershadgg
I downloaded some of the classes for a long plane trip and ended up not being able to watch them because they wouldn’t show up in the download section but they were marked as downloaded. The content is great.
  • Never Ever

    By Agency511-Tim Schmidt
I joined to watch lessons on creative writing and storytelling. After watching several classes, I decided to mix it up and watch Steve Martin’s MasterClass . I am not a comedian so it was only for entertainment. The... never thought... never thought I would be so blown away! His class is packed with life lesson pearls that can be used in every industry. . I was just blown away. I even had my 10-year old watch most of it. Great work. I love the new content.
