FESTICKET Traveller Guide

  • Developers got too greedy

    By Mikialama
I stopped playing when I realized that the game is rigged even more than most apps of this type. I don’t mind spending money on a game I enjoy, but I began to notice that when I had plenty of diamonds, pieces I needed were only available for game cash. And then, miraculously, when I would get game cash, all of a sudden, pieces were only available for diamonds. And, none of the rewards for winning a contest are anything one would really use in another contest. The items are mostly throw-aways, good only for a few points in the “unused” category, but nothing truly helpful. And many of the contests themselves are impossible to score well in because lower level players are up against players who have access to looks, hairstyles, props, etc. that are so far out of reach of beginning players that it just becomes hopeless. I would I have loved to have continued in this game because creating the looks is fun. And I wouldn’t have minded spending a reasonable amount to make purchases from time to time. But you have priced “Cover” far beyond my reach, as well as that of many others, I suspect—witness the many fashion “houses” in the game that no longer have a single active member.

Although the game is really fun, addicting and has taught me a lot about fashion sense, I agree with the other comments in terms of voting being unfair and diamonds costing so much real money. Don’t get me wrong, I know the game has to make money somehow, but if the prices of everything were even a little bit lower, it would be very productive I’m sure. I personally think I lessen the voting issue because I don’t vote for the look I like the most, I vote for the person who is on the lowest level.

  • Unrealistic

I have been a HUGE fan of Design Home for years now. I was excited to try the “apparel version” so to speak, much to my disappointment. The clothing is unrealistically expensive for what they give you to start. On top of that, the prizes you receive for challenges are also insufficient. It is virtually impossible to complete anything more than the daily challenge. I can not afford to even purchase all the necessary items for a single challenge. Please match the outcomes (challenge prizes) more closely to the inputs (prices of clothing), and I will be satisfied.
  • Fun but frustrating

Fun game for some fashion fans but get ready to be frustrated when you run out of money! It goes quick! Also is frustrating when you can’t try on more than 1 item on at a time. Voting is frustrating because you’re up against higher levels who have more wardrobe (probably pay in game purchases).
  • Fun but problematic

Edit: Another star removed as it has been 11 days and I still haven’t received a response from them about a couple glitch issues. Irresponsible and I would NOT recommend spending a single penny on this app. Honestly, I play this game a lot but it has a ton of problems. Darker skinned models tend to get voted lower scores and the challenges basically force you to spend real money - the price of items and combo of what’s needed vs. prize value is generally not good. Additionally the voting is not fair since they pair low level with high level and also take into consideration if others have used the same clothing combination. So people who use “cheat” groups tend to score better. It’s also EXTREMELY glitchy and often difficult to get response from the team. Despite these issues, I play daily and enjoy the game a lot!
  • Fun but pricey!

The judging is unfair and it’s hard to earn diamonds which is the only way to buy pieces. Design Home has a better system.
