  • try cancelling--impossible

I cancelled after 2 months--just not that much I liked. Then still got a bill from Apple, and tried to report the problem, but that didn't work either. Now i have to call my Credit card company.
  • Awesome Content if you can access

    By TxRaven7
The programming is wonderful, when I have access. I signed up for an annual membership because I love all the programs Acorn TV offers. However, I am not able to access half the time. First, I get a pop up to sign in with my iTunes account, which if I just press “ok”, it sometimes plays the show I want to see. However, For at least 50% of the time, once I get pass that message, I get a pop up message that I need to subscribe and it won’t let me get pass it, even though my subscription clearly doesn’t expire until next year! Just don’t understand why this is the only streaming App that can’t get it together tech-wise, because it really does have awesome concert once your able to access.
  • Pretty cool to me

I, personally, have no issues with this app but one minor thing. It doesn’t seem to be able to be minimized, for when you want to watch your show, yet get others things done on your tablet while still playing the show. If you can fix that or add that, it would be phenomenal. 😊👍🏽
  • My Favorite Streaming Service

I watch this on my iPhone, iPad, Ipad mini as well as Roku on TV set. I think it’s the best. I buy it for a year at a time - $49. Really enjoying the Lucy Lawless show - My Life is Murder.

  • Reviews are terrible !!!!!!!!!

By rocky mountain fan of Brit tv
Why are the reviews for this product so bad? American tv does not compare to the quality British tv that I see on Netflix and Amazon, but the app for Acorn is terrible. Why the British tv industry would tolerate this kind of a product to be the Avenue to such a good product is beyond me. Your people solved “Enigma”, you can certainly solve this. Jim

  • I’m not sure why, but it works great for me.

I don’t want to curse myself but the app works really well for me and that’s not typical with my relationship to technology. It works fine and I enjoy it immensely.

    Where to begin...
  • BritBox is a better app

Acorn has great content but their app and customer service is lacking in ability and functionality. They were very polite and and eventually told me to talk with Apple about the problem who spent over a half hour trying to help with an operational issue with their system to no avail. I had to call Acorn because although their system acknowledged receiving my filed complaint online (my first step) they did not respond in a timely manner.
